DESCRIPTION:Named as the largest night parade in the Southeast year after year\, the Grand Parade is a two-hour extravaganza featuring national participants & local marching bands\, floats\, local government and law enforcement officials\, clowns and much\, much more.\nThe parade brings the entire Southwest Florida community out in celebration of the life and achievements of our local winter resident\, Thomas Edison. DESCRIPTION:As some of you may know\, the FDOT just announced they are shutting down the Caloosahatchee bridge on May 31st for 10 weeks\, so we figured why not throw a party for all of our loyal patrons who make that drive daily.\nAs a thank you\, all North Ft Myers (& Charlotte County) residents (with license proof) will receive a coupon for 1 free beer a week for the next 10 weeks (1 per household) with a drink purchase.\nIt wouldn’t be a party without music\, so we called in some favors to get the perfect group for this event – Caloosa River Band! They will be performing from 6-9pm!\nIf that wasn’t enough\, Mambo will be serving up fresh Cuban cuisine starting at 5pm!\nLet’s all come together and wave goodbye as the essential bridge goes to slumber for 10 long weeks.
