DESCRIPTION:MEET UP 7:00 PM\, ROLL AT 7:30.\nGrab your bike\, helmet\, and lights and come join the ride on the 4th Friday of every month. We roll at 8-10 mph for a total of 11 miles.\nLocation: SW FL Military Museum & Library Parking Lot\n4820 Leonard St\, Cape Coral\, FL 33904\nEstimated Distance: 11-12 miles\nCOVID Alert: Obviously if you have symptoms or have been exposed to someone who has symptoms\, please sit this one out!\nHere are the SWFL Critical Mass ride guidelines:\n1. YOU RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK! Your being careful and responsible is up to you. We announce the ride\, ride along\, enjoy.\n2. Be nice\, nice works! Being nice during one of those rare situation\, keeps our positive wavelength strong – even if they don’t receive your kindness in the moment. If they escalate anger\, kindly ride away.\n3. Lights are a must on night time group rides. You need to be seen by cars and the riders surrounding you. Put head & tail lights in NON flash mode.\n4. Helmets. Protect your brain and your pretty face! There are a lot of us riding\, though we are careful\, a bike to bike fall can easily cause injury.\n5. Ride speed is 8-10 mph. If you’re a slow rider\, it is easier if you keep toward the front of the group.\n6. Do not overtake the front of group ride leader. If you see others in front\, it is because they have been instructed to do so.\n7. When riding on roadways\, keep to the right side of the road & allow space on the left for Corkers to pass. If you are told to move out of the way by a Corker\, please do so\, we’re all in this for enjoyment and NO injuries.\n8. Ride with consistency (no weaving) & communicate\, if you’re passing someone\, just an easy\, “Passing on your left” is all it takes. Shout out potholes\, gator or other needed information to those behind you.\n9. Keep the swarm of bikes tight (No more than a 3 bike spread).\n10. When you ride with SWFL CM you leave your worries behind. If you want\, pick them up after the ride.
