Shrimp Festival

Two days of all things shrimp to benefit the community of those in need! Every year on the second full weekend in March, the Fort Myers Beach Lions Club puts on a two day festival to raise money for the community of those in need. FREE TO THE PUBLIC! Donations are accepted & greatly appreciated!
The weekend kicks off with a parade down Estero Blvd. where attendees can catch prizes & candy that are thrown from the floats & mingle at any of the watch parties set up in front of local businesses. Get ready for a variety of parade units such as the American Red Cross, Lani Kai & the Cincinnati Firefighters, Shrimp Festival princesses, the Calendar Girls & more!
When the parade is over, attendees flock to Shrimp Festival (at the foot of the FMB pier inside Lynn Hall Park) to get their local, Florida Pink Gold Shrimp Boil platters & shop close to 100 vendors with handmade goods at the Shrimp Festival Arts & Crafts fair.
A pageant & shrimp eating contest take place inside festival grounds over the weekend as well. Come cheer on the next Shrimp Festival queen & king be crowned and join us on the beach in paradise while supporting local business and giving back to those in need!
