SANTA’S BLOCK PARTY BRINGS FAMILY FUN TO THE FORT MYERS RIVER DISTRICT DURING FESTIVAL OF TREES!
Join Santa for fun, food, and holiday festivities! On Saturday, December 4th, Santa’s Block Party offers workshops from 10 AM- 2 PM where kids can make arts, crafts, and holiday cards, and decorate their very own cookie from Publix! The Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center is located at 2301 First St. in the historic downtown Fort Myers River District.
A not to be missed Festival of Trees favorite! Santa’s Workshop is an opportunity for kids to create holiday art, color Christmas and holiday cards, decorate their own yummy cookie from Publix! Kids will also get to write letters to Santa and our military service members! Sparky The Fire Dog will be interacting with the kids along with other characters and the Fire Department will be providing the Touch A Truck program. Culinary delights for breakfast and lunch will also be available for purchase from local restaurants.
Fun with the whole family in mind at Santa’s Block Party! A not to be missed Festival of Trees favorite! Santa’s Workshop is an opportunity for kids to create holiday art, color Christmas and holiday cards, decorate yummy cookies from Publix Super Market, and create crafts too! Kids will also get to write letters to Santa and our military service members! A new tradition in the festival that developed last year is a fun train ride around the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center! One free train ride ticket will be included with each workshop admission. Santa’s Block Party/ workshop admission is only $6 per child and includes one train ride. Additional train ride tickets may be purchased for $2 at the train depot.
Santa’s Block Party is far more than just a day of fun outside the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, Santa’s Workshop has holiday amusement and activities just for kids from 10 AM until 2 PM. Cost is only $6 per child (ages 2 and under are free!) Of course Santa insists their adult family members join them (no charge), because we are all still young on the inside. Be on time to see Santa arriving by train! Also enjoy the full Festival of Trees, a wonderland filled with beautifully decorated trees, each going home with a lucky winner of our Festival of Trees raffle. Bring your cameras, get your raffle tickets, join in the festivities.
Be sure to visit the Capital Gallery upstairs to see the December art exhibition Gifted. It’s the only art show where art is for sale on the spot! Every fantastic holiday piece will be hand crafted. Just in time for the holiday gift buying experience! Opening Friday, December 3 from 6 PM -10 PM through December 29th.

Wreath lighting and the Country Christmas concert with The Ben Allen Band beginning at 7 PM
